Unfortunately, the ‘ Unlock-Interop is not possible on all Lumia 800 and 710 : after a brief identification of the flaw that allows the jailbreak, find out what are the unlockables and how to end at Interop-Unlock.
HOW WAS THE DISCOVERY FALLA
A user of XDA forum found that turning on your 800 by pressing and holding Lumia – besides the power button – the two buttons of the book goes into a diagnostic menu Qualcomm , connecting the phone to a computer with Linux is recognized as a USB memory ( of 146 MB), on which is possibilie write and delete files.
In this partition there is the IMAGE folder (which contains the files ADSP.MBN, AMSS.MBN, EMMCBOOT.MBN) and folder keystore (with file keystore.str). By modifying these files, you can get the Interop-Unlock and – perhaps in the future – the Full Unlock.
The Lumi I 800 E 710 COMPATIBLE WITH THE RELEASE
To find out if your Nokia Lumia 800 or 710 is unlocked just put it in download mode:
- Turn it off.
- Simultaneously press the power button and the button to increase the volume until you feel a short vibration .
- Go ahead and just hold the key to increase the volume and connect the phone to your PC via USB cable.
Revenue on the Device Manager (Device Manager) and wait a while ‘to see what happens ( continue to hold down the button to increase the volume! ).
If it is recognized as Nokia DLOAD then it can not be flashed (and unlocked), butif Windows asks you to format it to use it (press obviously not!) then you are lucky because you can install the custom ROM .
GUIDE TO INSTALL AND RUN THE CUSTOM ROM The INTEROP-UNLOCK
- Download the ROM for your Lumia from the links at the bottom of the article (first extract the files to extract them all: of course must be in the same folder).
- It would be preferable to use Linux, but you can go with Windows: downloaddd from the link at the bottom of the article.
- Enter the Qualcomm menu by pressing the volume keys simultaneously and the power button (starting with the phone turned off) and connect the phone to your computer.
- In the prompt dd (under Linux, we have not confirmed that it works in Windows), type dd if =. / os-new.nb of = / dev/sdX9 where X is the number or letter corresponding to the Nokia 800 Lumia recognized by the system .
- Now you must perform a hard reset Lumia: hold down the power button for 10 seconds to exit Qualcomm.
- Press the power button, the button to lower the volume and camera key simultaneously until the Lumia will not vibrate .
- After the vibration just let the power button and hold down the button again to turn the volume down and the camera for 5 seconds or more.
- When you restart your Lumia 800 will have the Interop-Unlock!
